Atlantic Canadians are excited to travel, but many still have concerns about their trip

Travel continues to be a big part of life for people living in the Atlantic provinces. In fact, 75% percent of residents aged 25-64 have travelled outside their province in the past three years and plan to travel again. Most of these trips take place within North America (83%), and Atlantic residents are especially likely to travel within Canada (68%).

  • 40% of travellers are worried about lost or stolen documents (i.e., passport or wallet).
  • 48% of travellers express concerns about cancelled flights.
