How much coverage should I get?

The amount of critical illness insurance you might need depends on your current savings and level of financial responsibility. It’s usually recommended to have three to six months' worth of after-tax income in savings.

To decide how much coverage you might need, it’s best to think about how much you contribute to support your family, both financially and physically. Even if you're not the primary household earner, your family may still rely on both you and your income and need that extra financial support for things like childcare while you’re recovering.

Not sure how much coverage meets your needs? A team of licensed, non-commissioned advisors can help you determine your ideal coverage amount.
