In her 21 years at The Shaw Group, Carol MacMillan became the company’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and the first senior female executive in the company’s history. In 2015, Carol became the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Halifax Chamber of Commerce and led during the first transition of executive leadership at the Chamber in 28 years. Carol has also volunteered at Phoenix Youth and the University of King’s College. She’s also been an active member of the Atlantic Chapter of Financial Executives International (FEI), a panelist for the 2018 Scotiabank Women in Leadership Program and a panelist for the 2018 Deloitte Atlantic Canada Tax Executive Forum. Carol also received a Women of Excellence Award in 2008 from the Canadian Progress Club.
